Products & Custom Moulding

Custom plastic rotational moulding and contract moulding by Melbourne Rotomould in Victoria (VIC), Australia. A widely used industrial design and contract moulding service, we work closely with many customers from a wide range of major industries to develop their products; design, tooling, manufacture, packaging and logistics. We can do the same for you, to your budget. Bring your ideas to life!

Design

Our expert in-house industrial design team use the latest SolidWorks 3D CAD software for design, and we select quality local toolmakers to cast or fabricate our customer moulds depending on the application and budget. When dealing with our design team, you can install this free eDrawings Viewer to interactively see your designs take shape. Tooling is usually fabricated from mild steel, cast, or machined from aluminium for an excellent finish.

Manufacture

We manufacture under a certified ISO9001 Quality Management System, and have a range of rotomoulding equipment capable of producing small parts through to extremely large ones. This gives us the flexibility to get your mould mounted on the machine type and size that gives you the best quality parts. For a sense of scale, our largest machine (one of the largest in the world) can fit a 20 foot shipping container inside of it and can handle moulds weighing in excess of 5000kg.

Product tracability including serial numbering and tagging is well catered for. Scheduled in house training, full work instructions and testing procedures ensure that our production process is world class. Being a local manufacturer (our factory is in Pakenham, Victoria) our customers value having a close connection with the manufacturing process.

Products

We manufacture many rotationally moulded products. Custom moulding product examples include industrial tanks, chemical storage, marine floats, caravan tanks, shrouds, chemical spill trays, mining equipment, industrial containers, food bins, trailer covers, chemical processing, noise wall panels, industrial ducts, plastic fairings, food handling, medical, industrial buckets, chemical tanks, sporting equipment, furniture, playground equipment, automotive and many more. Being extremely versatile, rotomoulding offers a variety of plastic product shapes and sizes from the very small to the very large.

Scheduling

One of our big strengths is our solid scheduling system. With multiple trucks on the road every day, we are as much a logistics company as we are a manufacturer of plastic parts. This is important because your orders seamlessly integrate between production and delivery, enabling easy forward order scheduling, urgent order requests, and order modifications with a high degree of flexibility. We have your packaging and logistics needs covered.
